Who we are
Blue Dog Digital is a sole trader business operated by Kyle Marham, based in Wales, UK. We build software — for clients and for our own products.
This policy covers weareblue.dog and the following products we operate: Bloodhound (bloodhound.weareblue.dog), BugDog (bugdog.weareblue.dog), Moss & Tale (mossandtale.com), Fondness, and AdPilot.

What we collect and why
We only collect what we need to provide our services.
When you contact us (weareblue.dog)
- Your name and email address, when you email us about a project
- We use this to reply to you. We don't add you to any mailing list without asking.
When you use our products
- Bloodhound: JavaScript error data, performance metrics, and page URLs from your Shopify store. This data belongs to you and is used solely to power your monitoring dashboard.
- BugDog: Screenshots, browser metadata (browser, OS, screen size), and the bug description you type. This is sent to the project management tool you configure (Wrike, Jira, or webhook).
- Moss & Tale: Your account email, your child's name (used to personalise stories), and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see your card details). Story generation prompts are sent to Anthropic's API.
- Fondness: Your account details and conversation history with AI characters. See the in-app privacy notice for full details.
- AdPilot: OAuth tokens for connected social accounts (stored encrypted). Ad account data fetched from connected platforms (Google Ads, Meta) to populate your dashboard.
Cookies and analytics
weareblue.dog does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. There is no ad tracking on this site.
Our products may use session cookies to keep you logged in. No cross-site tracking is used.
Third-party services
Depending on which product you use, your data may be processed by:
- Anthropic — AI story and content generation (Moss & Tale, AdPilot)
- Stripe — payment processing (Moss & Tale, Fondness)
- RevenueCat — subscription management (Moss & Tale, Fondness)
- Hetzner — cloud infrastructure (all products, servers in EU)
- Google — analytics and ad data (AdPilot integrations)
- Meta — ad data (AdPilot integrations)
Each of these operates under their own privacy policy. We only connect to these services when required to deliver your product.
Data storage and security
All product data is stored on servers in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany). OAuth tokens for connected social accounts are encrypted at rest using AES-256.
We do not sell your data. Ever. To anyone.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing
- Data portability
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@weareblue.dog. We'll respond within 30 days.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, or as required by law. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised usage data (error counts, performance metrics) may be retained in aggregate.
Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13. Moss & Tale is used by parents on behalf of their children — the parent's account is the data subject, not the child. We collect a child's name solely to personalise story content; it is not used for any other purpose.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes affecting products with active users, we'll send an email notification.
